Small ivory Christ from the 18th century, attributed to the Tipa brothers’ school. They were among the greatest ivory sculptors of the old Trapani manufactories of the 18th century. You can see their works in museums or on the internet, where there is a lot of material about these 2 brothers and their school famous all over the world. The item is placed on a wooden cone from the 19th century, sized 14 x 9 cm; if placed on the wooden cone, the size becomes: height 24 cm, base 7 x 7 cm. We will include the certificate about the artefact handmade in antique ivory before 1947, which guarantees its originality. With this certificate I can ship the item in the European Union. For other destinations outside the European Union the buyer needs the cites, that has an additional cost and requires other 60 days to be released. If the cites is not released for any reason, the buyer will have to come and pick up the lot on site, or I will ship it to a third address that the buyer will provide me inside the European Union.
