For sale is a good quality Victorian Walnut Mirror Back Sideboard by Collinge & Co, with its original makers label. The top of the sideboard has a large mirror in the centre, with various decorative carvings surrounding it and twin carved columns. The base section has two drawers to the centre, flanked by cupboards, all with nice brass decoration. This piece is in good condition, with minor wear commensurate with age and use.

Collinge & Co were cabinet makers and upholsterers based in Burnley and their address, in the 1883 Commercial Directory, was at 110 St James's Street, Burnley. By 1914 the firm is listed as Collinge & Co. Ltd and they described themselves as cabinet makers, upholsterers, house furnishers and decorators. As you can see, they made excellent, high quality, pieces of furniture.
