This is an extraordinary charming piece of furniture, a very pretty mid-18th-century mahogany or red walnut chest of drawers, the well figured timbers particularly at the front showing quite strong striations, the top incorporating a slide with extremely attractive and original period brasses, veneered in walnut cross banded timbers.
