An outstanding pair of 19th century cold cast gilt bronze putti holding elaborate gilt wood and gesso candelabras. The putti seated on well carved column bases, the bases decorated with suspended gilt wood wreaths.
These highly decorative objects were situated at the bottom of the main staircase leading to the ballroom at the Savoy hotel, the Strand London. A photograph taken in the 1920’s of the candelabra shown 'in-situ' will be made available to the purchaser.
