In excellent antique condition, this well executed design displays superb craftsmanship in a quality, well figured rosewood with glorious, deep tones and grain detail - all chairs stamped with the cabinet makers name 'F Nicholson'.

Rising from elegant taper tip polygonal legs with a fine moulded seat rail, the stunning moulded and carved backs, with acanthus detailing and wonderful shaped top rail, offer elegant proportion with a strength of joint throughout.

Seating at a generous 47cm (18.5"), the traditionally upholstered drop-in seat pads, pre-finished in calico cotton, are ready for your upholsterer to dress in a fabric of your choice and offer supportive, comfortable seating.
