US$8,687.38 **Our Stock # LFA-1294**This is a Victorian, antique dining table dating to circa 1850. - A superior quality piece of immense interest, this table is very well made from generous stocks; Beautifully carved 5" wide lions paw feet, 7" carved baluster columns with stout cross stretcher featuring a 9" tall central pineapple and a thick frieze stock beneath solid and stabile tabletop. - The top displays attractive medullary rays and good grain detail in the warm honey tones and is edged on each side with fanned, gadrooned carvings mirrored around a central motif and terminated at the corners by matching motifs. The fluted apron is slightly recessed and in good proportion. - The superbly carved, massive, lion's hairy paw feet provide a stabile base for the 'X' frame stretcher that supports the bulbous, carved, baluster column supports featuring reeded caps and foliate carvings.
