The top of the davenport has a brass gallery and a shaped leather insert, decorated with gold tooling and a centre motif. This then lifts to reveal an interior fitted with drawers, two to the top, and two dummy drawers below which conceal the pen slide. The side of the davenport has four drawers, each with brass ring handles with a pen slide above. This piece is in excellent condition having been re-polished by hand.
