Mahogany with grain interest and good colour throughout Desirable aged patina with a wax polished finish Extensively decorated with well executed, boxwood and holly inlay The demi-lune top profusely and attractively decorated Floral and foliate garlands with cockerels framed in tram line string borders Drawer fronts and legs similarly adorned with inlay Rear centre leg withdraws to offer support for fold over top Well hinged, the open top presents a pair of ovular inlaid garland decorations Beneath a pair of dovetailed, oak lined, beetle wing drawers offer useful storage Brass locks present, key absent A fine example in good condition showing desirable wear to the open top, consistent with age and careful use.
