At the top of secretaire is a small drawer with three larger drawers below the desk. The drawers have decorative brass drawer pulls and keyhole plates. On either side of the secretaire are carved columns with brass accents at the top and bottom. The drop down desk features a red embossed leather work area with gilt trim details.
