This lot contains a large sculpture of a miner with cart made by Georges Petit (1879-1959). It is signed on the base and also has the foundry stamp of Batardy Cire perdu Bruxelles. It is manufactured with the lost wax technique, also bears the stamp with the name of the scene or the sculpture, but I can’t read this. The sculpture is made in Brussels around 1920 and is good condition. The chain between cart and miner is partially missing.Size: 48 cm long, 20 cm high and 14 cm wide. Will be sent by registered mail. Pick-up is also possible.
