US$708.18 For sale is a 19th Century Marquetry Inlaid Ladies Writing Bureau/Writing Desk. The top of the desk has a nice gallery with a fall below decorated with floral inlays. When the fall is opened it reveals two short drawers, each with stringing inlay, below a shelf. In front of the drawers is the well which when opened displays ample storage space ideal for stationary or paperwork etc. The interior side of the fall is inset with a green baize. The desk stands on cabriol legs which have ormolu mounts on the feet. FB Antiques, long standing members of LAPADA (London and Provincial Antique Dealers Association), has been established since 1960 in London and had three shops supplying the home and overseas trade.
