Color Dappled Skull Blurs into Black.
Gaping black holes mark the eyes and nose of this unmistakable skull form, but the usual contour lines of the mouth and teeth are missing. There is no voice; no words can come from the lips; a vow of silence has been taken. This imposing but muted presence will passively observe. Dappled hues of malachite, turquoise and scarlet blend into the gilded white bone. The colorful skull is absorbed by the negative black space, which blurrily transgresses its edges.
