Envelope with Holes,1986 Collage 99 x 90 cm (39 x 35 in) Part of Chabet's 'China Collage' series, Envelope with Holes is a collage of clippings from magazines, books, photos and other found paper materials which are layered onto a map of China that, through the process of layering, is completely buried by the imagery. According to a friend of Chabet, these collages were made to mark milestone events in the artist's life.
