SAPOE 11
US$450.00 Pascal, SAPOE 11, Water Color, 11.00 X 11.00 in, $450.00Pascal Pierme does not “feel good” unless he is making. From an early age, his grandfather’s garage studio inspired him to push the boundaries of his innovative mind and creative endeavors. Gaining notoriety in Europe as a promising young sculptor, Pierme had many solo exhibitions and showed alongside creative giants, including Pierre Cardin. Originally from St. Rafael, France, Pierme decided to move to New Mexico and settle in Santa Fe in 1997. Acknowledging his foreign status in America, he saw this as an advantage; seeing the surrounding landscape and culture with fresh eyes and incorporating these discoveries into his process. Uncovering peace and inspiration in his surroundings, Pierme opened a new chapter in his career as a sculptor. His evolved process and risk-taking has turned heads both nationally and internationally. Critics, curators, collectors and artists alike revere his ongoing bodies of work.
