A dynamic painter’s art contribution to the National Art Gallery.

Kim Tschang Yeul born on 24th December 1929 is a Korean painter, who has spent most of his career focused on water drops. He attended the College of Fine Arts at SEOUL NATIONAL UNIVERSITY from 1948 to 1950. In 1996 he was awarded the medal of Knight of Art and Letters, Embassy of France, Seoul. His painting works are shown at the Korean National Museum of Contemporary Art, SOUTH KOREA; NATIONAL MUSEUM OF MODERN ART, TOKYO; Foundation Veranneman, Ghent, Belgium; MUSEUM OF FINE ARTS, BOSTON. Thus all his art works are in national art gallery.
