Price On Request Biography of the Photographer: Nigel Parry began his photographic career in London in 1987 and moved to New York in 1994. Since then he has been comissioned by many of the major publications, advertising agencies, movie and music companies throughout the world. He has been privileged to shoot not only celebrities but also some of the most important and influential figures of our time. Nigel´s work has been exhibited worldwide at various art galleries and museums including a show at the National Museum of Film & Photography and at Visa pour L`Image, Perpignan, France. Nigel also had the honor of being the first portrait photographer to be invited to exhibit at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. Some of his artworks include: Communication Arts, Photo District News, European Magazine, The Award of Excellence from the U.S Society of Newspaper Design, Hasselblad Master Photographer, and several American Photography Awards. Nigel is involved in several charities including Starlight Foundation and Operation Smile. In the fall of 2003 he attended a mission for Operation Smile photographing children in the far remotes of China. Nigel and his striking photographs contributed to the cause by creating a further awareness to Operation Smile worldwide. His first book, Sharp, was published in December 2000. Precious, was released in September 2004, and his most recent monograph, Blunt, was published in October 2006. All three books received critical acclaim in both press and TV alike.
