Jeff Koons: Banality Teacups And Saucers

US$840.00

Koons' _Banality_ sculpture series, released in 1988, presents a commentary on American society and its insatiable appetite for glamorous commodities. Fashioned out of porcelain, these large works of kitsch present familiar and innocuous pop and historical motifs in disturbing, occasionally sexualized, contexts. To celebrate their 150th anniversary, Bernardaud, a French manufacturer of high-end luxury porcelain tableware, created this limited-edition collection of fine porcelain teacups and saucers that bears reproductions of Koons' uncanny artworks. Dishwasher-safe.
