For this display, Forcella selected a variety of moths that showcases the species' extraordinary diversity: intricately patterned moths of varying shapes, sizes, patterns and colors, all laid out in a kaleidoscopic form. He included some of which are considered the largest in the world; the Atlas Moth (Attacus Atlas), the Comet Moth (Argema Mittrei), Hercules Moth (Coscinocera Hercules), and the Great Owlet Moth (Thysania Agrippina), alongside several species native to North America that Forcella reared himself. Moths, sometimes mistaken for butterflies, evolved long before the latter; some of their fossils are more than 190 million years old.
