Nathalie Du Pasquier: Door Limited Edition Framed Print
US$350.00 French-born, Milan-based artist and designer Nathalie du Pasquier was a member of the influential design and architecture collective the Memphis Group from 1981-1986. Since then, she has mainly focused on painting. In the past few years, however, her textile designs have enjoyed a renewed popularity through collaborations with brands like Sebastian Wrong, HAY and American Apparel. A selection of her Memphis textiles were recently added to MoMA's collection. Nathalie du Pasquier says about this artwork: "This drawing is part of a series I started three years ago. The corridor, floor, door and elevator are not representing anything, they're just ideas of spaces or volumes, which have remained the themes of all of my work." Printed in mineral based archival inks with resin on 310gsm Hahnemuhle Museum Etching paper with a cut edge, each print is numbered and stamped in an edition of 100. The prints are mounted and framed with a solid oak molding behind high-quality acrylic.
