You’ll more often than not encounter whisky from the Glenallachie in a blend rather than presented as a single malt. They produce plenty of whisky, with much of it matured in ex-bourbon casks and ending up in some popular blends. However, we’ve bottled some of their single malt, and it’s tasty stuff! The label is a bit of a play on words - because we like those. It’s a bunch of fish playing a concert in a valley. In fact, they’re playing rock music. And they might be plaice. Put it all together and what do you have?

Tasting notes:

Nose: Slight pear drop acidity mellowing to rich oats.
Palate: Baked pear and orange with cinnamon.
Finish: Dark chocolate digestives and a milky maltiness.
