Extremely rare WW II bottle from Neustad wine traders Gebr. Hoff. In October 1941 Hoff purchased some 60% Übersee (Caribbean) Pure Rum which was subsequently bottled in a what appears to be a 19th century mouthblown Burgundy bottle. Clearly in 1941 there was a shortage of glass and using an(y) old bottle was common practice. The Rhum itself has been distilled in the roaring thirties.
