Karuizawa 1971 is the first vintage of Karuizawa ever released! This particular bottling has been awarded a gold medal by Malt Maniacs. A “die-hard collectors/speculators” must have bottle if there ever was one! Only 430 bottles were ever released. Due to its rarity and being the oldest bottle ever, Karuizawa 1971 gives the Karuizawa collector an arduous time getting hold of these bottles! This is probably the best Karuizawa ever!
