How do you know if you’re in a dream inside another dream on a boat which is also having a dream?! Anyway, this whisky comes from the Speyside distillery, which is in the Speyside region, which is confusing if you phone your friend and they say “I’m in Speyside!” and you have to figure out which Speyside they’re in. Unless you have a spinning top.

Tasting notes:

Nose: Musky with honey, corn syrup and some struck match supported by more subtle blackcurrant notes.
Palate: Barley in a hessian sack, a touch of grappa, gooseberry and more corn, opening more with a drop of water.
Finish: Linseed and orange peel.
