If you are a fan or rare whiskies this could be something for you. The Suntory pure malt is a line of whiskies produced at the Hakushu distillery but was discontinued in 1999.

Bottles of this gem are becoming increasingly rare and obviously, the older the rarer. This particular bottle was finished in 1981, the same year the eastern part of the Hakushu distillery was open. It is one of the rarest vintages of an already rare whisky. If you like to try, or own something few others do, then this is a bottle to consider!
