Sasanokawa Shuzo Co. Ltd was founded in 1765 and has been producing whisky since 1946, making it one of Japan's older distilleries. An unblended whisky is used in this product and is aged over 20 years. This particular bottle was matured in Sherry wood finish Cask Strength for first 15 years, then moved to tanks and finally moved into casks again for finishing.Only 40 bottles of this were ever produced, making it a very rare item!
