This 1850's French Empire-style daybed features a wood frame stained in a fruitwood color with a lacquered finish. The sleigh-style frame features intricate inlaid details on the headboard and footboard of flowers, leaves, and Gothic motifs. The scroll style ends of the bed curve into carved swan necks with feathers. The base features carved paneling and large feet. The new, comfortable foam mattress and box spring has been completely restored in a light blue velvet fabric and is accompanied by two round bolster pillows. This daybed is stunning, sturdy, and ready to be used in any home for years to come.
