This 1950's French Louis XVI-style chest of drawers is made from mahogany wood that has been stained in a rich black color with a lacquered finish. The facade of the chest features nine drawers in three rows with ample storage space. The facade of the drawers are adorned with gilt moulding details along the edges and brass drawer handles. Along the edge of the wooden top there is matching gilt moulding details. The carved legs feature fluted and turned wood details. The chest is stamped inside the drawers "Milling Road Furniture Division of Baker Furniture Inc.".
