A "Modern Classic" Eero Saarinen pedestal dining table, custom black marble with painted aluminium tulip shaped sub-base filled with concrete for maximum support. Saarinen (b.1910-d.1961) was a Finnish architect and designer most well known for designing the elegant "Gateway Arch" Westward Expansion monument in St. Louis, Missouri.
