Paul McCobb high back shaker inspired black lacquered armchairs, pair of 1950s, USA. One of the 19 Predictor Group pieces McCobb for O'Hearn Furniture, of Gardner, MA., from 1951-1955. Chairs were originally black lacquered maple wood. Gently restored with two coats of lacquer and rubbed out by hand.
