Hand blown glass lamp named _Vacuna_, designed by Eleonore Peduzzi-Riva for Artemide in 1968. The lamp can be used both as a floor and a table lamp.

This one-piece hand-blown glass globe is partially opaque white and partially transparent. The socket is in the recessed center. Two indentations allow for adjusting the position of the lamp to flat or angled.

We have three pieces in our collection, one of the three has a light switch with two positions for a softer and stronger light intensity. Max 1 x 100 Watt due to light reflection. The bulb is included. The lamps are in excellent condition. Price is per piece.

The spherical lamp is described in the Repertoire del Design Italiano 1950-2000 by Giuliana Gramigna on page 150 (1968).

The height of the lamps is 40 cm / 16 inch and the diameter 42 cm / 17 inch. The colour / material of these sophisticated lamps is white (murano) glass.
