Alfetta Table Lamp in Metal and Glass by Sergio Mazza for Artemide, 1960s

US$426.64

Elegant table lamp named _Alfetta_ designed by Sergio Mazza for Artemide. The glass of the lamp is frosted internally and the structure is made from metal. The top layer of the metal part, which was presumably nickel, has disappeared in the course of time and this has given the lamp a beautiful brass-like patina.

_Alfetta_ is related to a range of lamps named after the Greek alphabet. Other lamps from this series are amongst others _Delta_, _Gamma_, _Kappa_, _Omega_, _Pi_ and _Tau_.

The _Alfa_ table lamp is described in the 'Repertoire del Design Italiano 1950-2000' by Giuliana Gramigna on Page 84 (1960).

The condition of the lamp is good with some patina.

The height of the lamp is 28 cm / 12 inch and the diameter 26 cm / 11 inch.
