Wim Rietveld designed this red Panama Hat Wall Lamp, No. 4050, in 1956. It has become difficult to find a complete and original version. The red wrench can easily become lost, and the polyester cover, or diffuser, was not resistant to the heat of traditional light bulbs.

The lamp on offer still has both original elements, although the diffuser needs careful treatment. We can deliver the lamp also with a new diffuser so if you like you can secure the old one.

The paint on the shade of the lamp is in good original condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
