WALTER MARTINO

At the age of seven Chef Martino was cooking his first pancake made with flour, eggs, sugar and baking powder. When he was 14 years old he began working as a Commis De Cuisine at the restaurant Zeffirino in Genoa. At the same time he began to attend school at the Institute Hotelier Nino Bergese. Chef Martino graduated with honors. Becoming a student of the great chefs at the Hotel Park Hyatt, Hotel Bulgari, Dolce Gabbana Gold Restaurant, Il Marchesino of Gualtiero Marchesi and Town House Hotel Chef Martino taught cooking at various hotel schools at Milan Institute of State A.Vespucci, Institute A.Grandi and later in Monza at A.Olivetti.

Chef Martino also writes and presents a programmed broadcast on Sky TV called ‘La cucina di Walter’ directed by Fabio Bastianello. He began to travel the world as an elite Chef, private Chef; as well as, organizing the catering for soccer players, Hollywood stars, and royalty from all over the world. Plus, has participated in TV programs aired worldwide.
Chef Martino designs plates that are exhibited in galleries of art in Ibiza, in the airport of Milan Linate at the art gallery of Michelangelo restaurant, in Doha (Katar) during the international exhibition of luxury. He made the most expensive plate in the world. It was made of solid gold with 84 diamonds and sold for one million Euros to an Arab Prince visiting Ibiza in 2013. Walter is producing three other plates 9.7, 7.8 and 12.5 million which will be sold at the jewelry “Ben Gioielli” at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas.
