This 1950's Empire-style writing desk is made of mahogany wood stained an ebonized color with a lacquered finish. There is a single drawer with brass ormolu accents that compliment the brass moulding on the edges of the desk. The stretched X-shaped pedestal legs have turned details and brass toe caps. This desk is sturdy, elegant, and ready to be used in any home for years to come.
