Wall lamp Model 50 by Gino Sarfatti for Arteluce, 1968
Price On Request Off-white lacquered wall lamp Model 50 by Gino Sarfatti for Arteluce.Marco Romanelli and Sandra Severi describe the wall lamp in 'Gino Sarfatti 1938-1973 Selected works': "A direct wall fixture designed in 1968, has a support rod in white painted aluminium, on which 5 sockets for 25w bulbs with E14 bases are directly mounted. The bar is equipped with a plug on the side, so it can be placed at the top or side of a mirror." Romanelli and Severi as well indicate that Gino Sarfatti saw Model 50 as a "make-up light" for backstage in the theatre. The condition of the lamp is very good, it does not have any scratches or dents. Because of its age the colour of the lamp changed however from white to off-white.
