"Burl" Side Table in Bronze and Smoked Walnut by Studio Roeper

Price On Request Trees don't grow perfect. Especially California Black Walnut. We trimmed this burl growth off the side of a log and set it aside to season for a few years. Senior Craftsman, Florian Roeper, saw potential in the hollowed-out cavity and determined that bronze would mesh well with the dark coffee tones of the smoked walnut. Solid bronze discs, welded and polished, are positioned flush with the wood surface. The bronze base, clean and simple, has an architectural quality to it. One of a kind. Handmade at our California artisan workshop.
