A fabulous example of the desirable and sought after 'M series' Derby Bentley, very nicely bodied in the late 1990s, by Crailville, in the style of Vanden Plas. In 1998, the chassis was thoroughly re-furbished, including major attention to the engine, overhaul of rear axle, rebuilding of the road springs, radiator re-cored, chassis re-wired, etc, and much more besides, all documented with invoices in the file that accompanies the car. A newly built body by Crailville was fitted, panelled, excellently painted, upholstered, etc, and all work done to a very high standard, resulting in an excellent quality car, of very desirable specification, absolutely correct in appearance and a delight to behold. Eighteen years on, the car is still excellent, lovely to drive, ready to go and hard to fault in any way. Also included in the history file, as well as the aforementioned invoices, are the original logbook from 1940, together with two later continuation books, correct edition handbook, and various letters, etc. Complete with full wet weather gear, including side screens and tonneau cover and full hood, all very nicely made. The tools include the correct Dunlop jack, and a good selection of small spanners, etc, as shown in the photos. Just arrived from the Isle of Man, and very soon to be back on its original UK registration number, serviced, MoT tested until January 2018, ready to go!
