"Racing E type which acquired homologation by FIA"

We have beautiful metallic blue 1963 Jaguar E-type Competition Coupe in stock now.
This car has received homologation in order to participate in Historic GT race in June, 2007 and it is capable to enter into Historic sports car race which is under the jurisdiction of FIA.

This characteristic body color, named "Flag Metallic Blue", is a team color of Ecully Ekosse: a legendary privateer team who conquered Le Man 24-hour race two years in row by driving Jaguar D-type in 1956 and 1957, run Jaguar D-type in 1956 and 1957.

Jaguar have used D-type at the Le Man race and won 3 years in row and they have been focusing on race activities.
However, they were reluctant to compete in the race with E-type and instead, they proactively supported a privateer team instead. To compete against Ferrari 250 GTO which made its debut later on, various evolutionary measures were taken and that became a motif of many models of race car existing nowadays.

This car has 3.8-liters DOHC inline six-cylinder engine. Although SU carburetor has been adopted on road model, it was replaced with a larger diameter Weber 45 DCOE. On top of increasing the power, aluminum and steel were cleverly used on the body and acryl on the windows to achieve weight reduction of 920kg.

The power of the engine is transmitted through 4-speed manual transmission to the road surface.

The front wheels which measure "15 x 7" are combined with racing tires by Dunlop: measuring 5.50 M-15 while "15 x 7.5" rear wheels are fitted with 6.00 M-15 rubbers. Jaguar D-type is the first car to adopt a four-wheel disc brakes, and the E-type has adopted a strong Dunlop disc brake at that time. Front is 292mm and rear is 254mm.

As written above, this vehicle has undergone profound modifications so it is well prepared to be able to participate in a classic race as it is and has a high combat power.
No need to worry about anything prior to enter into a race under the jurisdiction of FIA because we have documents of FIA homologation on our file.

And this flag-metallic blue coupe with the classic shape is absolutely beautiful to lay eyes on in the garage, but the appearance of hurtling the circuit will be even more appealing
