1971 Triumph TR6, New Top, Rebuilt Motor, New Paint, 4 Speed, Great Cruiser
Just Toys Classic Cars is very proud to present a lot of British fun right here. Before you is a 1971 Triumph TR6. These cars were a ton of fun to drive then and they still are to this day. The fit and finish on this one are in great shape. This car was painted about 10 years ago in its original color and it still presents very well to this day. This is just one of those cars that make you want to find a back country road and start going through the gears. The convertible top is brand new, as is the tonneau cover that goes over the entire interior if you want to leave the top down. You will see in the pics that the fit and finish on both tops are in great shape. Also the top cover is in great shape as well for when you have the top down. Now, run around and slide in to the original saddle leather seats, and get that race car feel from the steering wheel in your hands. As you look around, you are going to see the original wool rugs are in great shape, as is the wood on the dash. The door panels and the dash pad are in great shape as well. This car even still carries the original TR6 seat belts. As you will see in the pics, there has been a modern AM/FM/CD installed, but the original radio as well as the original steering wheel are in the trunk. Also the original jack is in the trunk of the car. So now that you have yourself situated and very comfortable. Reach below that steering wheel and hit that key. You now hear the 2.5 Liter engine come to life and it sings so sweetly out of the new exhaust and goes out in to dual Monza mufflers. This motor was completely rebuilt about 4 years ago and has only had about 5000 miles on it since it was done. There are so many receipts on this car that it fills about 4 or 5 express mail envelopes. So now you put this sweet British cruiser in to first and step on the gas and ease off the clutch, and get ready to leave wherever you are in the dust. You now have that wind going through your hair and the ear to ear grin on your face like a kid that just opened his favorite present. You go through the 4 gears and the grin just gets bigger and bigger. This car is just that much fun to drive. There is so much new stuff on this car that we would run out of room mentioning it all.
