Beautiful Alfa Romeo - Giulia 1.6 “Biscione” version from the 1971!“In 1965 the “1600 TI” name was expanded with the title “Giulia Super”, known as “Bollino Oro” until 1969 and as “Biscione” from 1969 to 1972 for the two distinctive emblems on the rear pillars. This last one is the most successful, popular and sought after by collectors. More accurate finishes (wood-covered dashboard, round instrumentation, redesigned seats, chromed “door protections”, several rear fretwork, enamelled snake emblems on the rear pillars) were the salient features of the "Super", along with the engine which delivered 98 HP DIN (112 SAE) thanks to the adoption of two horizontal Weber dual carburettors".This wonderful model only had 2 owners. The first one was a famous Italian journalist: he owned it for 20 years since new. The second owner was an Alfa Romeo collector and kept the car flawlessly until today.The car is really nice considering the age. The exterior was repainted about 15 years ago in its wonderful original colour. It still looks very nice, with no signs of rust.The interior is very well preserved in its original colour. Also the dashboard and the headlining are intact.The engine is the original one. Mechanics have been just fully redone by a specialised workshop, with the replacement of all worn components: heads, silent block, supports, bearings, spark plugs, ignition cables, fluids, oil filters, fuel and air, points and condenser, etc. Also tyres are new.Everything was done to reach full performance and enjoyment for this wonderful carof unquestionable charm, elegance and sportiness.The car comes with the user and maintenance manuals, the service booklet, two original keys, the certificate of property of the time, original number plates and the original registration document.A rare model to find, especially in these conditions, that is destined to increase in value... not to be missed!It can be viewed and picked up in Aversa (CE), Italy.
