BMW - 323i Automatic - 1982

US$15,590.80

I am offering a neat BMW 323i E21 from 06-1982 in Lapis Blue, from my private collection. This BMW model E21 has never been welded because it does not show any signs of corrosion (rare). After returning from Spain (therefore no signs of corrosion), I gave the car a major maintenance service including new tyres and a new battery. In addition, the car was treated with body wax (see pictures of the trunk) to protect it from rust. Resprayed in the past due to small scratches and sun damage. It has a valid TUV until next May (German periodic vehicle inspection). As of now, it also has a German Historical license. What is also unique is that the dashboard has no cracks as is often the case with other cars like this. The engine runs like it should with strong compression, the automatic transmission shifts properly. The engine does not emit any smoke or anything like that when shifting gears. This 323i also has power steering which was rare for that time. It drives great on a motorway and the powerful 6-cylinder engine is ready when you need it, good for many years of driving pleasure and many thumbs up. The car is entirely original and has not been modified by tuning and has not been embellished by sporty young enthusiasts. See pictures for further condition specifics. Engine is nice and dry at the bottom and does not leak any oil or other liquids. I believe the odometer reading is original, given the car’s condition. The maintenance booklet and other booklets (in Spanish) are including but not completely documented. For the record: There are always a few minor flaws after 36 years. Including small scratches on the chrome, bumpers and paintwork. I mention this in case there is the odd little scratch I didn’t spot. In addition to normal maintenance I don’t expect any further defects, it can be used as a daily driver for many years to come or stored away as an investment. A good 323i without any signs of corrosion is hard to find and increases significantly in value. Have a look on other websites and see if you can find a similar rust-free European model. The car can be viewed and picked up in Hannover, Germany. You can drive it yourself or have it picked up. Transport can also be arranged at an additional fee.
