Very distinct car. The business coupe was used during the 1940s by businessmen. Two seats were sufficient and the boot had to be particularly large. This Chrysler from 1947 was substantially overhauled by the previous owner. The original engine was replaced by a Mopar V8 with Edelbrock carburettor. Further, the car was customised, but not overdone. It has been lowered (substantially) and is very suitable for installing an “air-ride” system. The car features an automatic gearbox and the engine has at least 300 HP. The car is equipped with disc brakes and also has a separate brake system (front/rear). The car has wire wheels. The paint work needs attention here and there (see photos). The car starts well, drives and shifts great, and brakes properly. As already indicated the ground clearance is small (approx. 5 cm) so be careful with speed bumps. The interior has new gauges in combination with original parts (such as radio and clock). Both the interior and the boot are reupholstered. A special car, it sure does need some work, but very few copies of this vehicle remain.
