Fiat - Fiat 500 C Belvedere - 1953

US$13,608.20

No penny has been saved on the restoration of this beautiful Fiat 500 C Belvedere. Bodywork was separated from the frame and both were repainted.Mechanics of the car were replaced in all the worn parts: engine was rebuilt adapting it to unleaded petrol, obviously the gasket of the cylinder head was redone. Spark plugs are new, as well as cables. The fuel pump was also replaced and the carburettor was serviced. Oil and water (with Paraflù antifreeze) just replaced.Brake system is virtually new in all its parts. Brake pump is new, hoses are new as well as cylinders and friction materials, as shown in photos. The handbrake (which operates on the transmission shaft) was adjusted and works sufficiently. The electrical system is new. This means that the car was fully rewired and relays were replaced. All light indicators, interior and exterior, are in working condition. The dashboard can be lit by means of a special button and the speed, petrol and oil indicators are in working condition. The fuel tank float was serviced and works correctly. The rear-view mirror is illuminated by a push-button and still has the seals attesting to the ACI registration for the years 1956, 1957. Sliding side windows and they all open and close properly, tracks are in good condition and recently lubricated. Coated rubber sunroof is new.Interior, i. e. the front and rear seats, the front and rear sides and that of the third door, as well as the rear armrests, are new, which means redone using materials matching the original ones. All the seals of the three doors are new.The car is equipped with spare wheel and original jack. Original wheel lock is present. Battery is new and the car is equipped with battery switch. It is overhauled and with tyres. Inspection valid until 12/2019.Two things need to be checked:the front bumper chrome with signs of age and the silencer. Front rubber carpet is original with signs of age.Logbook of the new type and original black license plates. Please keep in mind that the car was restored to keep it (and not to sell it) and only upon the death of the owner is offered by the heir; such a level of restoration implies an economic commitment that, alone, will hardly cover the value of sale. A gem that can't be missed by those who want to have a car in almost museum-like condition, the purest example of accessible mobility at the gates of the economic boom. The vehicle can be viewed and picked up in Rome, Italy.
