We bought this 1965 Ford Galaxie 500 LTD from AJ in Modesto, California. AJ was too busy with his work and didn’t have time to enjoy his Galaxie.The 390cui engine 300 HP (220 kW) at 4600 rpm and 427 lb • ft (579 N nm) at 2800 rpm, runs perfect and quiet. The engine has an Edelbrock intake manifold and a carburetor. The automatic gearbox shifts fine. Power steering and power brakes make driving and steering fun and comfortable.The lacquer is nice and this Galaxie is nice and sleek. The bumpers are nice and straight and the chrome is in good condition. There is one spot on the lower left of the boot where there used to be a small rust hole. This has now been repaired, it will not rust any further. The interior is good and neat. Not new but very good. Seats, carpet, headliner and door panels are in a good condition. Electric windows, electric front seat. Original steering wheel with a few small cracks, the original radio is included. The rims are 17-inch with 4 as good as new tyres.You will definitely enjoy this 1965 Ford Galaxie 500 LTD!
