Very lovely E-Type (XKE) Jaguar series II – convertible – Pale Primrose Yellow 1970 Magnificent E-Type Series 2 Jaguar with 6-cylinder engine of 4.2L. Matching: chassis / engine / gearbox / colour. Jaguar Heritage certificate. One of the last produced prior to the series III and the most reliable series of all. This colour combination is very lovely, very elegant for this exceptional vehicle. The French classic cars registration is currently in process.Fédération Française des Véhicules d'Epoque (FFVE) certificate is available.Valid MOT. Registration within all of Europe is possible.Cared-for vehicle stored in a closed garage. New paint. Black leather interior in good condition. It works really well, powerful engine with a fabulous sound, it is very pleasant to drive. Moteur / Transmission : The mechanics work perfectly. It starts immediately. It is stable in idle and the engine does not overheat. Once warmed up, the engine revs normally. The 4 speeds of the mechanical gearbox move up and down easily without hitches specifically at the level of the syncro. The grip of the clutch is good. During the dynamic test, there is no abnormal parasitic noise at the level of the body or the running gear (ball joints, silentblocs ...). The braking is aligned and its efficiency remains in line with vintage standards. A full bleed of the brakes has been done. Body / Exterior: 1970s model E-Type 4.2L Series 2 Jaguar convertible in its "Primerose Yellow" colour of the time. Chassis: Placement on the bridge confirms a healthy body without any signs of structural corrosion. The fundamentals: side bars, floors, sills and wheel arches are in good condition. The body has been completely repainted. The latter is now in a very lovely condition of presentation. The openings are well-aligned with the body. The chrome bumpers are perfectly positioned and are in perfect condition. The chrome embellishments are intact and in excellent condition. The black leatherette roof is in very good condition without snags, discolouration or signs of wear. Its installation is simple and it is properly sealed. The PVC rear mica is in very good condition without snags or yellowing. Interior: The interior was preserved in its original configuration and is in lovely condition. The black leather upholstery is in good condition without defects in the stitching or stretching and presents a light and homogenous patina. The door panels as well as the leatherette trim assorted to the upholstery are in good condition, without signs of wear, scratches or discolouration.The dashboard and its black leatherette cover are in good condition. The four 15’’ chrome spoke rims are in excellent condition without damage or deformation. The chrome Jaguar knock-offs are in excellent condition without dents or deep scratches. The Michelin tyres are perfect on the two running gears. This example has the spare tyre, jack and mallet.
