Very lovely E-Type Jaguar (XKE) series II in very good condition.With the 6 cylinder 4.2 L engine. Matching: chassis / engine / gearbox / colour. Jaguar Heritage certificate. One of the last produced prior to the series II and the most reliable series of all. French classic cars registration currently in progress. Fédération Française des Véhicules d'Epoque (FFVE) certificate if available. Valid MOT. Registration within all of Europe is possible.Cared-for vehicle stored in a closed garage. Lovely paint job. Black leather interior in good condition. It works really well, powerful engine with a fabulous sound, it is very pleasant to drive. The seller has a lift to view the vehicle.Engine / Transmission: The mechanics work perfectly. It starts immediately. It is stable in idle and the engine doesn’t overheat. Once warmed up, the engine revs normally. The 4 speeds of the mechanical gearbox move up and down easily and without hitches, specifically at the level of the syncro. The grip of the clutch is good. During the dynamic test, there was no abnormal parasitic noise coming from the body or the running gear (ball joints, silentblocks...) The braking is aligned and its efficiency remains in line with vintage standards. A full bleed of the brakes has been done. Chassis: Placement on the bridge confirms a healthy body without any signs of structural corrosion. The fundamentals: side bars, floors, sills and wheel arches are in good condition. The PVC rear mica is in very good condition without snags or yellowing. Interior: The interior was preserved in its original configuration and is in lovely condition. The black leather upholstery is in good condition without defects in the stitching or stretching and presents a light and homogenous patina. The door panels as well as the leatherette trim assorted to the upholstery are in good condition, without signs of wear, scratches or discolouration.The dashboard and its black leatherette cover are in good condition. The four 15’’ chrome spoke rims are in excellent condition without signs of damage or deformation. The chrome Jaguar knock-offs are in excellent condition without dents or deep scratches.
