An extremely rare Italian thoroughbred classic: this 1968 Lombardi Grand Prix. With chassis number 32, one of the earlier copies out of the 500 produced in total. First registered on 08-09-1969. Recently completely restored at a very high quality level, whereby the pure originality was explicitly preserved. Probably the most original in the world!Francesco Lombardi was the founder of this coupé. Lombardi was an aircraft manufacturer and tried, after the successes of Enzo Ferrari and Ferruccio Lamborghini, to also build his own sports car on a smaller scale. The Grand Prix was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show and immediately stood out by its ultra low weight and height. Only 359 cm in length and 106 cm in height with a weight of 630 kilos. Justifiably a featherweight! Also issued later by O.T.A.S and as Abarth Scorpione.In the original colour Gialo Mongolio, Weber carburettor, overhauled 850 cc engine, overhauled 4-speed manual transmission, the beautiful aluminium Rupsa rims, and a spaghetti manifold with OMP silencer for a nice classic, sporty sound. After the revision it has done 422 km.A lot of history is present with the car, the original car keys and the original factory brochures are available!
