Maserati Sebring Early Series 1 (1963)

US$236,572.00

Good 1963 Maserati Sebring Series 1 Vignale. Built in January 1963, it was supplied to the Swiss Maserati importer Martinelli e Sanvico of Lugano. It is an early Sebring example being number 64 built. This car has distinctive features such as; the dashboard Vignale logo, a centrally placed petrol tank and a 3500 GT exhaust system. The car benefitted from a past nut & bolt restoration in Stockholm, Sweden. The process has been duly recorded photographically and supported with invoices. The bodywork is nice but not new and the lacquer finish is good but not perfect. In 2005 the car was sold to Germany, where the engine, transmission, clutch and drive shaft were fully overhauled by a recognized specialist. Again these activities have been meticulously recorded. Fitted with triple Weber carburetors this car performs quite nicely. Finished in stunning 'Blu Sera' with a light tan leather trim. This Sebring has retained her original, matching numbers, Maserati certified, engine. A perfectly documented very early Sebring Series 1\. A fantastic Vignale designed Maserati that must been viewed!
