The vehicle is in absolutely original condition.Due to a small damage at the rear tin the vehicle has been repainted more than ten years ago as it had a few scratches.Otherwise no damages due to accidents have been noted or reported.Rust-free carriage.Soft top and hard top are in flawless condition, only a trim strip of the hard top is slightly damaged, as you can see in the pictures.I have taken this vehicle over with 29000 miles ( 46400 KM ). At the moment the tachometer shows a mileage of 31000.The „exotic car“ of the series 107, the 560 SL, was contrary to many opinions from 1985 onwards not low compacted anymore due to a better quality of gasoline in the USA. It has a cubic capacity of 5547 cm³ and 170 kW (231 HP) and had only slightly less power than the European top model, which was not on the market in America. The engine power of the 500 SL without catalytic converter was increased in the same year to 180 kW (245 HP, 165 kW or 223 PS with catalytic converter), which made this car the strongest model of the series 107 in the year 1971 since the start of production. The 560 SL has, however, the shorter axle drive ration of the 420 SL. The 560 SL was very popular in the USA, which can be seen in the sales figures. The vehicle can be viewed in Klagenfurt (Austria) and picked up there.
