The Nissan Pao, 3-door hatchback, from 1989 with a 1960s look. Based on the Nissan Micra K10 and therefore contains many of the same parts. This classic car is in fine condition. She has been in our possession for 4 years and is still used care-free on a daily basis. However, my wife has to travel long distances frow now on for her work and we recently had a child so we are therefore selling this smile evoking car. The Pao is a RHD car but this gives you a safe feel and a good overview in regard of cyclists and pedestrians especially in busy city centres. The former owner had the car repainted about 6 years ago, the paintwork is still in good condition although it has two spots that require some attention. Below the windshield and near the right sill (see pictures). The bottom is solid. Everything is still entirely original and intact. A new sliding has been installed recently. The car will benefit from new door rubbers. Despite the fact that the car was manufactured before 1999, its date of first admission in Europe is 2009. This means that you can use the car in designated environmental zones. In terms of insurance and vehicle tax, this Pao falls under the transitional regulation for classic cars. Maintenance in 2016: Front brake pads. Axle covers. Left sill welded and painted. New contact points and spark plugs. New timing belt. Rear lid hinge. 2017 maintenance: New aluminium radiator. New thermostat. New sliding roof. Radio modified, features mini jack input. Major maintenance service. The car is equipped with: Power sliding roof. Automatic transmission. Air conditioning.Power steering. Electrically controlled rear window. This classic car is ready for use, comes with a Dutch periodic vehicle inspection valid until June 8 and can be viewed in Amsterdam. The Pao was introduced in October of 1987 at the Tokyo Motorshow and 51,657 copies were made in the Pike factory for the Japanese market only. They were sold out within three months. Because of this high demand, the car was sold on the basis of a draw. Nowadays, this Japanese car has true cult status and is very rare in the Netherlands.
